Chopin Étude Op. 25, No. 11 "Winter Wind"//Evgeny Kissin Piano
Preformed by Evgeny Kissin in 2009 live in Moscow Chopin's Étude Op. 25, No. 11 in A minor "Winter Wind". Winter wind is considered one of Chopin's most difficult of his twenty four Études. The first four bars of this Étude (The first and only lento part) were written in just before the publication of this piece by Chopin because his friend Charles A. Hoffmann suggested so.
I've attempted to play this piece and I won't lie....its tricky! But once you break it down and see the patterns its not as difficult as you may have though at first. If you're trying this piece good luck!
